Assistant Property Manager (Sunday to Thursday)
We are currently hiring an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role involves providing support in various leasing activities and ensuring smooth operations within our property management team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and respond to phone calls, voicemails, and emails promptly
- Manage work orders by assigning numbers, scheduling tasks, and following up on completion
- Prepare and distribute necessary notices, such as entry notices and complaint notifications
- Conduct inspections of vacant units and common areas for maintenance and cleanliness
- Handle rent collection and post payments accurately in our property management system (Yardi)
- Send balance due notices and collaborate with the attorney's office for legal actions, including 3-day notices and evictions
- Schedule and conduct property tours, accept applications, run credit checks, and request necessary documentation from prospective tenants
- Prepare and execute lease agreements, collect move-in funds (money orders or cashier's checks), and provide move-in packages to tenants
- Update tenant information and move-in records in Yardi
- Regularly review security reports, address incidents, and communicate with tenants as necessary
Requirements:
- Two years of property management experience as a multifamily assistant property manager
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work Sunday through Thursday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 per hour
