Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition after surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with patient recovery and ensure their comfort and safety
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions
- Document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Experience in PACU or critical care is preferred
- Knowledge of post-operative care protocols and pain management techniques
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
