We are seeking a very special cosmetologist, leader and technical trainer to help support our talented full-service hair stylists in our seven beautiful and busy Supercuts salons in Greater Milwaukee WI.
You will be a part of the leadership team for over 40 talented, proudly diverse cosmetology professionals working together in locally-owned salons that strive to provide our guests with fabulous hair care and guest service.
With the support of our leadership team, and with extensive resources from Regis Corporation and our cosmetology industry vendors, you will help develop and deploy a technical and customer service excellence program that will help the company to attract and retain the best trained workforce. Working in classroom settings and side-by-side with our stylists, you’ll help each to achieve their best possible potential, while helping to develop an environment that celebrates and rewards achievements.

As our Cosmetology Technical Trainer you will:
- Provide technical and customer service training to licensed cosmetology, barber, and cosmetology apprentice professionals, helping to hold each accountable to technical and customer service goals
- Help lead and develop a team of creative, enthusiastic stylists to help achieve their goals
- Help create an environment that encourages and rewards outstanding guest service, satisfaction and retention
- Help the Company to achieve guest service, guest count, guest retention, and financial goals
- Perform hair services on guests greater than 50% of scheduled time and meet personal performance goals.
- Help provide oversight of our team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, skills development, product knowledge, performance management, safety, recognition, and legal compliance
- Help manage Company expenses
- Place and check in supply orders timely and within budget; while ensuring not to run out of needed supplies to service guests
Your Qualifications
- Current State of Wisconsin Cosmetology license
- Cosmetology training and leadership experience preferred
- Ability to develop training materials, goals and scheduling, working with resources, processes and tools provided by Regis Corporation and cosmetology industry vendors
- Ability to shine in a group setting, leading classes of students, and participating in company, community and cosmetology school events
- Commitment to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings
- Dedication to outstanding technical service and memorable guest service
- Commitment to follow a guest service system with every guest, every time
- Skill to listen and understand what the guest wants
- Skill to use a computer to enter and track employee, company and guest information
