About the Job
Watermark Designs is seeking a Polisher to join the organization as a member of the Manufacturing Department. They will be responsible for completing the finished look and quality of a wide arrange of luxury kitchen and bathroom fixtures products such as faucets, tub and shower systems’ assemblies and accessories.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Polishes and/or buffs pieces to blueprint and standard finish requirements.
- Removes sharp edges by deburring.
- Performs final cleaning and inspection.
- Prepare surface for further finishing.
- Mark cracks and splits for repair.
- Performs minor final assembly work.
- Holds responsibility for wearing proper safety equipment in required areas.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand technical materials and blueprints.
- Ability to maintain concentration while operating equipment with moving parts.
- Familiarity with power driven tools and machinery.
Preferred Knowledge and skills
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to manipulate various small pieces of an assembly fixture at the same time.
- Ability to frequently move about inside the plant to access supplies, parts, tools and equipment.
