A modern and progressive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice is seeking a Front Desk Administrator/Patient Care Coordinator with excellent people skills and strong organizational talents to assist in the business functions of the office. This person will provide patients with exceptional customer service, while working hand in hand with referring dental and medical professionals. Responsibilities
-Efficiently handle front desk duties, including: greeting patients upon arrival, scheduling appointments, posting charges and payments, billing, and answering phones
-Provide Ritz Carlton level customer service for patients and referring offices on the phone and in the practice
–Help to cultivate the practices reputation for exceptional customer service
-Maintain ideal patient flow throughout the day with efficient scheduling of procedures
-Assist with marketing activities, including occasional visits to referring offices, event planning, and tracking referral relationships
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to present our office in a friendly, positive, and professional manner by way of appearance and communication skills
-Possess a strong work ethic while taking pride in completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner
-Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
-Must genuinely love working with and helping people
-Strong organizational and time management skills
Work Experience
-Office administrative, customer service and/or public relations experience is required. Experience in oral surgery is a plus.
