- Utilizing general computer skills.

- Performing standard prescription and basic mathematical calculations to determine if lenses are within standards and as prescribed;
- Using optical processing techniques, terms and trade practices as they relate to optical fabrication processes; AND
- Operating various types of optical equipment/machines and various trade tools.
