Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our team. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide high-quality dental care to our patients and assist in maintaining the overall oral health of our community. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Eaglesoft software system
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Monitor vital signs of patients during procedures
- Assist in medical documentation and coding for insurance purposes
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and systems
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft software systems
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes
