Event Sales Manager Essential Responsibilities: The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for prospecting and booking of events for groups of 9 or more guests
- Contribute to overall venue sales team revenue goals by meeting or exceeding personal sales quotas on a monthly (period), quarterly, and annual basis
- Strive to deliver an unparalleled guest experience on the phone, via email and with in-person communication from inquiry stage to post-event follow up
- Foster client relationships through ongoing communication with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Manage all assigned leads with the utmost sense of urgency and in accordance with the company’s lead response time standards
- Create, manage, and confirm Event bookings using Tripleseat sales system including the documentation of all prospect and event client communication
- Utilize established reports and dashboards to ensure personal sales Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are being met or exceeded
- Be open and eager to learn new sales skills
- Proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
- Proactively engage in outbound sales activity and networking in the community in adherence to established business development standards for the venue
- Represent Kings and actively participate in professional networking organizations and off-site events
- Schedule and execute site tours
- Clear understanding of and ability to express company identity, concept, and event options Desired Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of sales experience in hospitality, events, attractions, or entertainment industry
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills, listening skills, ability to check for understanding after direction is given (follow up,) basic math skills, strong organization skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
- Computer skills required (Excel, Word), CRM and Catering Software Systems. Tripleseat a bonus. Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Flexible hours: evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
