Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage and aseptic techniques
- Prescribe medications, including psychopharmacology, as needed
- Provide care for patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and homes
- Specialize in specific areas such as pediatrics or intensive care unit (ICU)
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and health assessments
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or emergency rooms
- Familiarity with home care practices and providing care in a home setting
- Ability to perform procedures such as gastric lavage and aseptic techniques
- Competence in psychopharmacology for prescribing medications
- Specialization or experience in pediatrics or ICU is a plus
