Job Duties:
- Process incoming freight by unpacking and verifying against the packing slip; receive and deliver packages to appropriate departments/personnel on a daily basis
- Receive packing slips into computer system to verify what was received against what was ordered.
- Process invoices by comparing to purchase orders, confirm any needed adjustments, and send to accounting for payment daily.
- Check and fill remote stock on Med/Surg and OB floors as well as Medical Clinic and Surgery Clinic.
- Fill departmental requisitions in a timely manner on a daily basis.
- Stays knowledgeable of products and suppliers.
- Understands and observes all medical center procedures and safety precautions relating to the proper handling, shipping, and disposal of sharps and hazardous materials.
- Locate, stock and distribute warehouse items.
- File all paperwork according to procedures for department.
