Position Summary: The Vice President, Operations (“VP Ops”) is responsible for the oversight of anesthesia group practices and client relationships within CCI by supporting, leading and developing the Regional Directors of Operations (“RDO”) team who are the front-line leadership for these efforts. The VP Ops will successfully build the RDO team to develop and maintain client relationships with the highest level of service, the establishment and maintenance of professional relationships, and achieving financial and client-specific goals. The VP Ops works closely with the RDOs and with practice leadership to drive optimum practice and contract performance including organizational dynamics, financial performance and growth, operational efficiency, physician and hospital relationship management, contracting, and oversight in the assigned territory. They will be responsible for ongoing strategic assessment of the business, practice/site operations, leadership and team member development, risk management, managing growth of the regions, clinician and client relationship management and contract management.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree and ten years of progressive leadership experience.
Degree may be waived in lieu of significant and relevant experience.
2. Five years practice or hospital operations experience with at least two years in Anesthesia.
Preferred Qualifications: MBA

1. Management responsibility for RDOs for all matters regarding management of their client sites and clinical providers. Support and assist the RDO’s with new client start-ups, onsite interviews and contract renewals. Serve as RDO as needed or as assigned for vacancies, challenging contract needs.
2. Mentor, develop and manage the team to top of their scope. Ensure they are oriented to each client contract, site and needs and are prepared for independent calls and meetings with client site representatives to be the subject matter expert and lead the contract.
3. Determine workflow and develop and maintain standardized processes and educate RDOs on processes for consistent application and service ensuring CCI’s standards are met.
4. Assist the RDO with preparation of monthly or quarterly client facing reports to review practice and anesthesia services performance; finances, operations, staffing/recruiting updates, alignment with facility goals and support for CCI value proposition.
5. Assists chief, RMO/RDO team building and maintaining engaged, accountable and aligned local teams with supportive, practice environments and culture. Facilitate local employee wellness and positive culture initiatives.
6. Final responsibility for successful contract management, new start-up contracts, finances, billing, positive client relationships, practice operations and RDO assignments.
7. Administer RDO incentive program in coordination with Finance Department.
8. Review financial performance reports regularly for client sites, develop strategies and lead executive of strategies for underperforming sites, driving accountability and positive progress.
9. Works with third party payers and ensure billing is captured, problems remedied, and billing handled appropriately.
10. Identify “Best Practices” for Operations and work collaboratively with other departments and leadership (Operations, Medical Affairs, HR, Staffing & Recruitment) on intiatives within CCI to successfully execute and communicate updates with them.
11. Evaluates practice productivity and provides recommendations for improvement, staffing and assists the marketing department to ensure practices have market presence, consistent and proper branding optimization, access and volume growth.
12. Hospital and facility Driver of “destination of choice” mission with new and existing clients. Ensure regular cadence of administration communication and meetings in coordination with RMO/RDO and EVPs as appropriate.
13. Clinician/physician: Driver of “employer of choice” mission with all clinical and non-clinical providers.
14. Assures and fosters CCI culture across clinical and non-clinical enterprise for all.
Skills & Abilities:
1. Strong background in financial management and analysis including development of staffing and financial models, contracting, business development and physician relations.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to negotiate and build relationships with physicians, physician groups, other healthcare professionals and hospital partners is required.
3. Must be a critical thinker, able to logically evaluate all aspects of situations and problems, to arrive at optimal solutions.
4. Must have a high degree of personal accountability, energy and an entrepreneurial mindset.
5. Must have strong negotiation skills, with the ability to find collaborative and positive outcomes across varied stakeholders.
Work Environment: This is a partially remote role, so standard home office environment is required. Sites of service will include hospitals, surgery centers and group practices and are a standard healthcare environment
Travel: Ability to travel to practice sites, company events and meetings. Travel on average would be once a month, but frequency will be based on practice needs, startup practices and sites etc.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
