Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil/Structural Engineer (PE) with a passion for forensic inspections to join our team. The ideal candidate will be either a licensed PE or sitting for the PE exam this summer. This role is perfect for an engineer with some experience in forensics or structural engineering. We provide opportunities to gain additional experience and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field reviews and inspections for various projects.

Take detailed notes and photographs during inspections.

Perform forensic inspections to determine the cause and extent of structural issues.

Collaborate with our support staff who will handle paperwork and report writing.

Provide immediate billable work to help manage our current workload and ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or currently sitting for the PE exam.

Some experience in forensic or structural engineering is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Work Arrangement:

This position is remote within central Florida (Orlando, Space Coast, or Tampa) as there is the requirement of travel to customers within the area.

Flexible working hours with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
