HOA Community Accountant

Planned Development Services is looking for an experienced HOA Community Accountant. PDS offers a supportive and team oriented work environment. As a Community Accountant you will be performing the following functions for a portfolio of communities:
- Process Accounts Payable
- Post payments to homeowner accounts
- Prepare delinquency letters for mailing
- Add assessment charges and late fees to homeowner accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Process bank transfers
- Prepare financial statements
- Complete regularly scheduled phone shifts
- Enter budget figures
- Gather information for audits
- Prepare annual budgets
- Research account payment and credits
- Assist with special projects
- Interact with homeowners, board members and Community Mangers in person, on the phone and through email
Skills/ Requirements
Requirements for HOA Community Accountants:
- Minimum of 2 years experience or education in a bookkeeping role
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Experience with TOPS and/or SmartWebs a plus
- Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Friday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
