CK Power is looking for a Service Sales Representative at our St. Louis, MO location. The Service Sales Representative develops and implements service sales strategy, manages customers to achieve annual service sales targets, and drives incremental growth in sales revenue and market share year-over-year. You will provide extensive customer relationship management through regular communication, in-depth understanding of customer needs, and providing value added services to address customer service requirements. You will be issued a company-owned truck.
The Service Sales Representative will:
- Proactively contact customer accounts to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Establish relationships with key customer contacts to understand short and long-term service needs, and tailor your sales approach appropriately.
- Prospect, identify, evaluate, and recommend new customer targets through analysis of new and existing markets and customer contacts.
- Execute service sales and marketing initiatives to generate incremental sales.
- Qualify potential customer applications, create service sales quotes, and deliver value-based service sales presentations to satisfy customer needs and maximize profitability.
- Serve as a single point of contact for CK Power customers, coordinating the highest level of customer service with other departments and various contact points within customer organizations.
The Service Sales Representative needs:
- Valid driver’s license. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to engage regional customer contacts.
- Fast-paced sales experience in diesel, industrial, construction, or commercial equipment service. Basic mechanical aptitude in these areas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn enterprise resource planning (ERP) computer systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven attitude.
- Ability to motivate customers to action and have the personal drive to aggressively pursue service sales and market share growth.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Strong ethical conduct.
What Helps:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
- Sales experience in power generation service or equipment is a plus.
