Position Overview:
As the Associate Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media initiatives to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive business growth. You will work closely with leadership, including VP of Marketing, Designers, and the founder, Susan Strauss to create compelling content, manage social media channels, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to optimize our brand awareness, and increase organic social growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company objectives and target audience.
Manage day-to-day activities on social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, posting, and community management.
Must be willing to travel to project sites to capture content.
Create elevated and engaging content for various social media platforms, including, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Must have experience in graphic design/Canva platform, social media management platforms, Meta ad manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing channels.
Clear communicator, and building strong relationships with designers to fully understand the depth of project details (vendors utilized, project location, project name, design details, etc.)
Understand the importance of vendor relationships for social use
Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Analyze performance metrics and KPIs (key performance indicators) to track the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Manage weekly social reporting to present to leadership + greater team of Susan Strauss Design.
Stay-up to date with best practices, emerging technologies, and social media trends to continuously improve our social media strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
2-4 years experience in social media management, preferably with Interior Design firm or within Interior Design industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Proven experience of organic growth on social platform for brands.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for content creation.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Must have a passion for interior design, social media, content creation, digital marketing, and keen interest in staying abreast of industry trends and developments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
