Our search is on. MC Companies is a Multi Family Real Estate investment firm based in Scottsdale, AZ. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work in a full-time position at The Place at Barker Cypress 1800 in Houston, TX. This person must have a proven track record in electrical, plumbing, and general handyman skills, along with a customer service-friendly demeanor.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring our apartment homes are market ready and walked daily
- Participates in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds, completing resident work orders, and preparing units for rent; in a timely manner. Duties may include:
o Painting, plumbing, carpentry work, drywall, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair
o Cleaning and maintaining pool by emptying skimmers, testing chemicals, maintaining logs.
o Light electrical repairs on items such as, appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, and ensures that all routine lighting inspections are completed, and burnt-out bulbs are being replaced as necessary.
o Door locks, re-keying, P.O. boxes and locks
o Following service process through to completion then inspects work for conformance to specifications and standards and ensures resident satisfaction.
- Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Assists in distribution of all company or community-issued notices (i.e., bad weather, emergency, etc.).
- Walks market ready units daily and communicates needed supplies or assistance needed for completion.
- Participates in ensuring safe practices are adhered to; upholds policies of the community; ensures professionalism in achieving work goals.
- Supports a harmonious team environment
- Maintains accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, work order and other required documentation pertaining to job.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and rotate being on call.
- All other duties assigned.
