Summary
The Crisis Care Manger under the leadership of the Director of the Westside Community Triage and Wellness Center provides oversight and support to the daily operations of the Crisis Care Program. The Crisis Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Justice Mental Health Collaborative Fitness Diversion Project. Ensures data gathering and reporting is accurate. Coordinates meetings and activities with community partners and other stakeholders, as well as responsible to assign tasks and coordinate huddles, meetings and outreach activities. All activities and client contact will be done through a client-centered, and trauma-informed approach.
Role and Responsibilities
- Supports director in supervising staff in the Crisis Care System (Mobile Crisis & Intake)
- Manage and monitor the implementation of the Diversion Strategy.
- Convenes and manages the Diversion Work Group meetings (JMHC team and stakeholders meeting).
- Identifies the needs of the community, including collecting and analyzing administrative data.
- Works to ensure all data project vouchers and expenditures are submitted in a timely manner.
- Designs and manages data collection system to meet the requirements of the funding in collaboration with Evaluation partners.
- Ensure data collections for all diversion projects are maintained accordingly.
- Collaborating with participating provider organizations and other project stakeholders to ensure timely required data submissions and workflow activities.
- Provide monthly updates regarding progress on key milestones to the stakeholders.
- Complete and submit quarterly reports in accordance with timeline required by the funder.
- Develop working relationships with court personnel, ASAs, and PDs to ensure a high level of collaboration in order to influence positive outcomes.
- Coordinate meetings and other activities between JMHCP stakeholders, CCH, CSG Justice Center, and BJA as required.
- Works to support 24/7 operation of mobile crisis team.
- Coordinates and assigns tasks related to IHPA, CPD and Fitness Diversion activities and huddles.
- Assists director and clinical supervisor with administrative tasks.
- Effectively perform crisis intervention techniques and works with Crisis Intervention Specialist to develop a crisis plan for continuation of services related to individual clients.
- Assist in the decision-making process as it relates to the need for an emergency petition, other psychiatric evaluation and/or involuntary commitment.
- Collaborate with internal and external providers to coordinate access to the indicated level of care.
- Design appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources.
- Respond to calls from the CPD for assistance in resolving crises within the target communities.
- Responds to calls from court as part of a diversion project.
- Ensures that Mobile Crisis team members conduct firm linkage (warm hand-off) for persons to appropriate providers via the WCTWC.
- Complete documentation on EHR system (CareLogic).
- Maintain timeliness and communication on forms designated by the WCTWC.
- Conducts follow-up on persons served in accordance with established WCTWC protocol.
- Utilizes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to engage consumers.
- Participate in staff meetings, training and supervision sessions as required.
- All mobile crisis staff may be required to work holidays and weekends as the need arises to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s Degree in a Mental Health related field and/or related experience
· Bilingual preferred.
· Must meet minimum requirements for MHP.
· Must have reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance on file at all times.
· Demonstrate cultural competency in providing services to low income, disadvantaged populations
· Service oriented, empathetic and able to interact and develop rapport with a diversified population.
· Must pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings and pre-employment drug screen.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
