Job Description As a Property Catastrophe Claim Service Leader, you will lead direct reports in helping them achieve exceptional performance of your business unit’s processes. You’ll be in charge of encouraging positive behaviors and initiatives to support your staff.
A day in the life of a Catastrophe Claim Service Leader:
Reviews employee work quality and interactions with customers through conducting ride-alongs or sit-alongs and file reviews
Defines, analyzes, and tracks department, section, and/or unit measures
Analyzes unit reports and supports the achievement of business unit objectives
Oversees the resolution of highly complex customer conflicts or issues
Oversees the negotiation of highly complex claim settlements
Oversees response to highly complex arbitrations contentions
Manages and oversees performance of vendors
Frequently participates in special projects as a subject matter expert

When will I work?
This position follows a 10/4 schedule (10 days on, 4 days off) usually with 12 hour work days. Also there will be some travel required with this role based on business need and catastrophe events.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has supervisory duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have 2+ years prior experience working in or leading a group of staff in property claims
Have 2+ years prior experience using Xactimate estimating software
Can work on complex assignments and apply analytical problem solving methods
Are skilled in negotiations and/or arbitrations and can teach others
Work in continuously improving processes and procedures and encourage the same with your staff
Value providing an effortless customer service experience
Are organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Are known for being organized and accountable
Are known for clear and professional communication – both written and verbal
Have a bachelor’s degree and/or prior leadership experience
Being bilingual and/or having prior military experience is a plus
This position is not available for Puerto Rico, California, Alaska, and Hawaii residents
Notice of Licensing Requirement:
As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire.
If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.

Compensation Compensation offered for this role is $74,240 - 134,060 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
