My College Planning Team is expanding its free workshop programs to college families across the U.S. and is seeking several high school counselors with five or more years of college counseling experience to assist students on their journey to college.
We are also seeking counselors to join us in reaching out to high schools that will benefit from our free college planning workshops . Our marketing team will support you with writing email copy and scheduling workshops and webinars.

This is an independent contractor role.
Responsibilities:
- Provides education to clients surrounding the college planning process
- Conducts research based upon the client’s needs and interests
- Stays current with admissions trends and Is familiar with a wide variety of college planning resources, both those available to the general public and those available within school systems
- Connects the client with resources to assist them in the career and college planning process, both inside and outside of their high school
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a school counselor, college admissions counselor, student advisor or other relevant role
- Has strong connections within school districts and/or the school counseling community and will use those connections to book workshops and create awareness of MCPT
- Involved in local or national counseling or higher education associations or other activities that demonstrate a commitment to your profession
- Excellent communications, marketing, and organization skills
Part-time Contract Work
Pay: Fluctuates depending on work performed. $30/hr base up to $60/hr for work with students. Other bonuses and pay will be reviewed during interview.
Expected hours: Flexible, dependent on time of the year and client demand
