Qualifications:
- As our ideal candidate, you have experience managing pastry cooks in a commercial bakery operation.
- You are able to lead, motivate and build high performance teams.
- You model professionalism while demonstrating knowledge of our entire product line and all production processes and procedures.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are comfortable with Square POS, Microsoft and Google application suites.
- You are able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (when needed) and have the energy to be on your feet for extended shifts.
- You have your food handlers license (or are willing to get one, paid for by the company)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, including cakes, cookies, croissants and donuts.
- Create and manage production schedules for all products including wholesale and catering orders
- Oversee all aspects of production for reliability and constancy.
- Create and implement processes, procedures and documentation to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Order and maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all food preparation and handling processes
- Collaborate with ownership to develop new pastry recipes and menu items
In doing so you will:
- Work closely with owners to hire new team members
- Train, direct and correct team members in all standard operating procedures
- Create and manage the weekly Production team schedule.
- Model and maintain high standards of production and sanitation all the times
- Model and maintain outstanding communication standards between team members at all times
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Communicate effectively with bakery FOH staff
- Use your creativity in decorating pastries and desserts

Experience:
- Production Bakery Management: 2 Years (Preferred)
- Team Management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Recipe Development: 2 Years
- Food Handlers License Holder (Preferred, or we will support you in rapidly obtaining same)
- Experience with MarketMan software a plus
