SUMMARY: Oversees the development and administration of all learning & development programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, along with steady review of the current training & development programs for our entire workforce to ensure direct alignment to achieving targeted organization goals. Supports three manufacturing locations (onsite) in the Southeast that lead to a best-in-class learning & development experience for team member growth & training options to achieve an internal bench of future leaders for succession plan building at each level of the organization. Role will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Ladson, SC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops organization wide programs to build/grow our human capital to the current role & department needs, career pathing & planning, and a strong learning culture that exceed company goals & objective targets.
Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of workforce learning & development for the organization.
Facilitates the development and implementation of team member performance measurements to gauge success of program, retention of training shared and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Assess & optimize all levels of individual & team development, career pathing, and organization change/communication programs & practices to achieve company & team members learning & development.
Crafts, conducts, & tracks annual companywide training compliance programs for all levels of team members in the organization and ensures it is met to company targets.
Establish a program of periodic workforce training for change management initiatives that are part of & vital to our growing company.
Actively reviews, sources, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance of our workforce & leadership.
Conducts follow-up studies of all completed learning & development training to evaluate and measure results.
Embrace and implement different types of training & development styles based on the needs of our workforce, including e-learning (LMS) systems, classroom sessions, mentoring, coaching, virtual, IDP’s, talent assessment tools (Hogan, 360’s, DISC, & Strength Finders).
Assist in corporate communications utilizing standard modes of delivery such as monthly/quarterly newsletters, key policy & procedure changes, digital wall boards, and internal company updates.
Serve as the point facilitator for periodic talent assessment reviews that are part of scheduled succession planning sessions for each level of leadership in in the organization, where we are always working on IDP’s for high potential performers as well as the staying engaged on detailed focus areas with strong talent as a part of career enhancement that helps thrive company results through our teams.
Build a recognition (electronic & paper) program based on our core values that celebrates great behavior, teamwork, positive energy, going above and beyond for the greater good/wins of the organization, and learning/career wins that keep team member engagement at the best in class/employer of choice levels.
Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned by the Vice President of People/CHRO Southeast Region.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

7+ years of experience designing and implementing team member learning & development programs.
5+ years of experience in supporting a workforce in a manufacturing environment with top notch internal and external client customer service skills.
5 years Microsoft software application intermediate to advance experience.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally & be adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms & methods.
Must have a valid driver’s license in good standings.
Must have world class presentation and facilitation skills to variety of levels of audiences & be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be an excellent multi-tasker and time-management guru in managing multiple projects/items given at high level.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration from a credited college or university; and/or 7 years related experience in learning & development of a workforce; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years or more experience in a manufacturing work environment is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Sr. leaders, managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
REASONING ABILITY
Requires strong analytical knowledge; training and learning needs analysis, organizational change management strategy, KPI tracking on learning completion rates, and individual/team development plan progress tracking.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred. Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
