Screen Printing Specialist Position
Summary
Think Graphics and Printing Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual with an eye for detail to join our company as a Screen Print Specialist. As part of our production team, you will complete various screen-printing duties, such as maintaining and operating machines, folding and stack printed items, preparing screen printing patterns, loading ink, and solving technical problems.
You will screen print, reclaim, and pack orders in an efficient manner, and maintain all equipment.
This is a fast-paced and physical position, meaning you must be able to stand, crouch, and lift objects and parcels throughout your shift. Our ideal candidate has prior experience with screen printing, extreme attention to detail, strong data entry and interpersonal skills.
Essential Responsibilities
- Play an integral role in the production, packaging, and delivery of logo apparel for various businesses and corporations
- Prepare orders to be printed, set up printers and complete printing on apparel
- Burn artwork on screens, set up screens and printed apparel
- Ensure accuracy in all details, to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect and verify completed projects to ensure final product meets quality standards
- Manual Press – Master the art or manual printing, monitoring proper chemical usage and repetitive motion on automatic and manual presses
- Screen printing – Master printing on a variety of garments, on a six-color manual press
- Screen print shirts on an automatic and manual press
- Reclaim silk screens, clean manual machine, maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Understand coating, blocking, shooting, and reclaiming silk screens for print process
- Select, mix, and modify ink to be used in machines, and ensure that inks are properly installed
- Install and reposition printing plates, and adjust pressure rolls, and machines to improve print quality
General Administrative
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for all
- Communicate effectively with the Owner, General Manager, your Manager, Production Team, and the CSRs, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that orders and customer objectives are met
- Comply with all OSHA safety requirements
- Follow all company systems, policies and procedures
- Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed, when needed
- Demonstrates excellence in organization and time management skills
- Able to multitask efficiently and while meeting deadlines
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- Utilization of Google environment (Docs, Sheets, Email)
Skillsets
- To ensure success as a screen printer, you should exhibit an extraordinary attention to detail, exceptional patience w/oneself, advanced artistic skills, be able to stand for long hours, be comfortable with manual labor and have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Working Conditions
- Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day
- Appearance at all times must represent the company image
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Work area conditions (e.g., noise, chemicals, climate) vary due to production; creating a mixture of environments to navigate daily
- Moderate to loud noise level
- Exposure to ink and chemical fumes, and airborne particles such as paper dust and drying powder
- Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity

Work Remotely
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
