Job Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the General Manager in various tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Manage inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
- Support catering operations and coordinate events
- Utilize Aloha POS system for transactions and reporting
- Ensure efficient restaurant operations and exceptional customer service
- Assist in implementing strategies to meet sales and profit goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant management
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar Point of Sale systems
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and cost management
- Familiarity with coffee preparation and catering services
- Ability to uphold food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
