Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our store, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide front desk support, answering phone calls, and greeting customers in a professional manner.
- Manage our calendar, scheduling appointments.
- Handle customer records and information with accuracy while also accepting customer payments.
- Assist with order entry and inventory management for appliances and parts sales.
- Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage our phone systems and ensure all calls are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for customers.
Skills.
- Experience working in a retail store or receptionist role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
- Proficiency in using a POS system and calendar management software.
- Familiarity with phone systems and order entry processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to transcribe customer records accurately.
- Experience in providing administrative support to a busy office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
