Ready for immediate hire! We are seeking an ambitious individual with direct experience in the multi-family housing industry to join our dynamic and fast-paced management team in Los Angeles/Hollywood.
The ideal candidate must possess the professional skills necessary to maintain organized, profitable, and strategic operations across multiple communities, including leasing and marketing available units.
Responsibilities:
Property Supervisor: Effectively manage a portfolio of nearly 125 units, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and fair housing regulations.
Reporting: Meet deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to financials, leasing, and marketing.
Financial Operations: Handle daily financial transactions, including strong rent collection and delinquency control. Prepare and serve notices to residents, audit resident ledgers and files, and enforce leases to maximize revenue while maintaining high customer service standards.
Market Awareness: Maintain curb appeal and stay informed about current market conditions, competitive pricing, and appropriate marketing resources.
Budget Management: Submit invoices promptly and operate within the approved budget. Manage vendors to obtain the best pricing for asset management. Renovation experience is highly desired.
Maintenance Coordination: Work with the maintenance team to ensure timely apartment turnovers, coordinate work orders, oversee tenant improvements, monitor capital expenses, and track renovation projects. Collaborate with the renovation team to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of units.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to prospects, residents, vendors, peers, management, and the ownership group.
Team Leadership: Lead and work effectively as a team player, meeting goals and following directions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing a multi-family rental community with over 125 units, including leasing experience.
Software Proficiency: Experience with AppFolio is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Must pass a background check, including criminal and employment verification.
Personal Attributes: Self-starter, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Schedule:
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week with availability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
