J4 Floors is looking for an account manager to oversee all jobs in the Houston area. Although it is preferable that you have a book of business to bring to the table, you will not need to bring a book of business because our operations in Houston are already taking off! You can expect to slide into this built-in client base and hit the ground running on your first day. We expect the person who fills this position to be earning six figures within the first couple of years of employment (if not sooner).
This job will include managing the entire flooring process for each house we successfully bid. You will be solely responsible for managing the job bidding, securing the subcontractors and materials, and ensuring that all jobs are completed within the time frame provided by the customer. You will also be expected to ensure that all completed jobs are submitted for payment (which is done electronically through our bookkeeper in Ponder), as well as managing our warehouse and inventory in Houston.
This is a full-time, commissioned sales position that offers a base salary as a draw against your commissions, which will be a piece of the net profit for each job you successfully complete (and for which we are paid) in the Houston market. J4 Floors will also provide you with a company gas card and reimbursements for approved company expenses.
The successful candidate will be expected to work from the Houston office/warehouse, but this job will require frequent traveling to and from job sites, suppliers, etc. Although you may expect to usually work normal business hours from Monday through Friday, you will be expected to work whatever hours and days required to ensure that all jobs are handled in the appropriate time frame.

*Responsibilities*
· Perform initial job scopes per client’s request;
· Draft and submit job bids based on scope of work and set pricing;
· Manage all jobs in Houston and ensure that all work is completed on time;
· Schedule subcontractors to perform work;
· Order and schedule deliver of materials and supplies required for each job;
· Utilize forklift to load/unload materials in warehouse;
· Manage warehouse inventory and office in Houston;
· Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters;
· Interface directly with customers;
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships;
· Expand new business with existing customers;
· Develop new business with new customers;
· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed;
· Other duties may be assigned as needed.
*Requirements*
· Legally authorized to work in the United States;
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred);
· Hardworking and reliable;
· Great attention to detail and problem solving;
· Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
· 3+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in the flooring and/or construction industry;
· 3+ years of experience in flooring (sales, installation, or other hands-on experience);
· Valid and current driver’s license;
· Reliable transportation with acceptable insurance coverage;
· Vehicle with ability to pull trailer and pick up supplies (preferred);
· Reasonably clean driving record;
· Background checks;
· Bilingual: English /Spanish (preferred);
· Intermediate computer knowledge and a smart phone with a camera and data capability.
