What You Need To Have:
- Experience performing maintenance work in commercial and/or retail buildings - high rise building experience a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to self-perform repair work using hand tools, power tools, mechanical tools, and measuring devices
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems - HVAC knowledge is a real plus
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work with vendors when necessary
- Ability to collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Property Manager
- Comfort level using computer software and a smart phone
- A willingness to work weekends, on call, and overtime when necessary
Credentials Required:
- City of Buffalo 1st Class Stationary Engineer license or the willingness to obtain the license within 1 year of hire

Compensation:
- Pay range for this position is $19.00 per hour to $29.00 per hour. Please note the actual pay rate will be determined and adjusted based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and other job related factors as permitted by law.
