Job Summary
The FSSP Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting enrolled clients and eligible family members to achieve self-sufficiency by coordinating and overseeing the implementation of Family Self Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs). Responsibilities will involve leading a team of FSSP specialists to develop comprehensive service plans, make referrals to internal and external programs/resources, ensure proper data and documentation, and track clients' progress throughout a 12-month period.
Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications for this position include a B.A. or foreign equivalent; experience in refugee services or a closely related field; strong data management skills; Bilingual.

Primary duties:
1. Work closely with program staff to ensure that Family Self Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) are completed for clients enrolled in the English Language Instruction and Vocational Training programs, along with any eligible family members.
2. Collaborate with clients to establish comprehensive service plans that address their specific needs, such as education, employment, health, housing, and social/civic integration.
3. Ensure that all FSSPs are developed in a client-centered manner, taking a holistic and strengths-based approach to their goals, strengths, and challenges.
4. Oversee and supervise a small team of FSSP specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
5. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among staff members.
6. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
7. Oversee quality assurance processes regarding the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation for each client, verifying that all required forms are saved in each case file and case notes are entered to document all relevant information, interactions, and progress.
8. Ensure all FSSP data is entered into the ClientTrack database promptly and accurately, ensuring data integrity and compliance requirements.
9. Identify the various needs of clients and make appropriate referrals to internal programs or partner agencies/community resources to ensure clients receive necessary services.
10. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of available resources and services in the community to best support clients, including all common refugee services programs.
11. Monitor and track clients' progress throughout the 12-month FSSP period, ensuring timely follow-ups at the 6-month and 12-month milestones.
12. Provide ongoing support and encouragement to clients, facilitating their journey towards self-sufficiency.
13. Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the FSSP program and propose improvements based on data and feedback.
14. Prepare periodic reports detailing program outcomes, challenges, and recommendations for management.
15. Participates in continued professional development in leadership, management, cultural content, and refugee services.

I have reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver's license, and valid vehicle insurance. • Must have own transportation to conduct job-related travel.
I understand the position requires frequent driving in a personal vehicle, including freeways and highways to satellite offices, job fairs, and offsite meetings and events.
I understand I must be able to work on a flexible schedule as needed to meet work, program, and project deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift twenty pounds; stooping, climbing, and bending are required.
