Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dealership Automotive Service Manager to join our team. As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department. This includes managing a team of service technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support
- Schedule and assign work orders to technicians, ensuring timely completion
- Monitor workflow and productivity to maximize efficiency
- Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections of completed work
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, invoices, and customer information
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dealership Automotive Service Manager or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive diagnostics
- Proficient in managing auto service operations, including scheduling and workflow management
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair, oil changes, general automotive repairs
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
