Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients seeking physical therapy? We are in search of a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Aid to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a physical therapist to prepare patients for their treatments. You will also be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment, as well as ensuring a clean and sanitized treatment room. Additionally, you will assist with clerical duties, including managing medical records and scheduling appointments. If you have excellent organizational skills and a warm and welcoming demeanor, we would love to have you on our team!
Job Duties
Participates as an active member of the Rehab Department.
- Attends department meetings.
- Assists in development of new programs.
- Assists in providing public education programs.
- Assists the office personnel with answering phones and making appointments as necessary.
- Promotes safe work habits.
- Practices Standard Precautions; i.e. good handwashing and use of gloves when in contact with bodily substances.
- Cleans whirlpool and other equipment in contact with bodily substances.
- Reports malfunctioning equipment.
- Utilizes correct body mechanics and assistive devices for all lifting, transfers and ambulation training.
- Maintains a positive work environment.
- Communicates in an understanding and diplomatic way with family, peers and supervisors.
- Problem solves by pursuing proper chain of command.
- Evaluates suggestions and criticism objectively and understands measures to change behavior or utilize resources when appropriate.

REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay: $13.60 - $17.23 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
