OVERVIEW
We are partnering with a leading Identity Management Client to hire for a Technical Product (IAM) Specialist for a 6 month contract. In this role, you'll leverage your in-depth technical expertise to build, maintain, and troubleshoot diverse lab environments used to evaluate our Client’s solutions against competitors and identify areas for enhancement. You'll collaborate closely with Product Marketing teams to gather requirements, design tailored solutions, and thoroughly test for limits and potential end-user impacts. Your role is essential in ensuring the lab accurately reflects real-world scenarios and effectively demonstrates the power of our Client’s offerings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain comprehensive IAM lab environments that simulate real-world usage scenarios.
- Partner with Product Marketing to gather requirements and translate them into actionable lab designs and implementations.
- Conduct rigorous testing to assess service limits, end-user experiences, and potential impacts of various IAM configurations (e.g., schema extensions, app integrations, object limits).
- Provide expert network administration and support for all lab environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Execute hands-on technical implementations and troubleshoot complex IAM issues, demonstrating a deep understanding of identity protocols and infrastructure.
- Clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable insights for product marketing strategies.
- This role is focused on building environments from the ground up without assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong foundation in Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles and a solid understanding of the product portfolio.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft solutions, including Active Directory, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, and O365/M365 management.
- Experience using Okta Workforce Identity.
- Proven experience configuring hybrid identity environments (cloud + on-prem).
- Expertise with Google Workspace and other major identity providers.
- Working knowledge of identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID, SCIM) and their practical applications.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management systems (SCCM, Intune, Jamf, VMware) across various device types.
- Solid understanding of Windows server administration (DNS, Networking, File Services, DHCP).
- Ability to manage on-prem networks, including subnets, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Working knowledge of major cloud IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience building/rebuilding computers and perform factory resets on:
- Windows Laptops, Desktops & VMs
- macBooks & macOS VMs
- iOS and iPad OS devices
- Android devices
- The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and able to work independently.
- Certifications: Active Directory, AD Certificate Services, AD
- Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for lab environment management.
- Experience with performance testing and load testing methodologies in IAM contexts.
- Understanding of security best practices in IAM implementations.
