As a New Business Development Representative, you will build lasting relationships with clients and prospects in your area, taking a consultative approach to meeting their transportation needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute sales plan to meet organization’s revenue goals
- Self-generate sales opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking and other efforts.
- Build and maintain long-term, professional relationships with clients and prospects throughout your territory.
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including: lead generation, lead qualification, presenting solutions, close, and delight.
- Collaborate with leadership team on marketing and sales initiatives
- Document and report all sales activity to leadership team.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of B2B sales experience preferred. Transportation and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work Conditions:
- Daily road travel is required.
