Responsibilities: - Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning - Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals - Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper dental care techniques - Interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests such as X-rays and oral scans - Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases or referrals - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems - Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Qualifications: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license in good standing - Proven experience as a dentist or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and oral health conditions - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and medical documentation - Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: - Experience with digital dental imaging systems for diagnostics and treatment planning - Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
