JOB TITLE: CCBHC Quality Assurance Coordinator
Sites Location: Williamsburg, Canarsie and Coney Island
REPORTS TO: CCBHC Director and CCBHC Director of Clinical Quality Improvement
DEPARTMENT: CCBHC
SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) is responsible for assisting with quality improvement efforts including, but not limited to, case documentation review and oversight on fidelity to service activities and best practices. The QAC will perform quality improvement (QI) reviews to assure compliance with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles and CCBHC QI program requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Promotes best practices within the reviews of documentation and follow-up with directors and staff;
- Reviews clinical records and other documentation review to ensure quality standards are met;
- Participates in the implementation of QI activities;
- Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings as needed;
- Provides the Clinical Quality Director data for quality reports;
- Provides feedback to Directors and staff on fidelity to Evidence Based Practices and expectations for integrated care.
- Provides feedback to the QA and CCBHC Directors regarding specific and general trends that are observed during the chart review process.
- As appropriate, assist with clinic data collection, health outcomes reporting, clinical audits, and evaluation related to standards and requirements for CCBHC.
- Completes special projects or assignments as needed to meet initiatives and/or objectives of CCBHC.
- Complete all CCBHC and organizational trainings.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
- Experience with youth and adults with mental health and/or substance abuse needs.
- Ability to identify appropriate clinical outcomes for mental health, substance abuse, and integrated care
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with word processing, electronic health records, and electronic communications.
- Well organized with strong time management skills
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Comfortable and competency working with racially, culturally, religiously and ethnically, linguistically, differently abled diverse communities, including but not limited to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health
- Licensed to practice
