Job Summary
Our Scheduling Coordinator is the liaison between Bruno Orthodontics and its current and prospective patients and consumers. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for answering incoming customer calls, solving customer issues, and directing calls to management team when appropriate. A successful agent is able to manage patient issues, complaints, and questions keeping patient satisfaction at the forefront of every decision.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Field and manages a large amount of inbound and outbound phone calls in a timely manner
Serves as gatekeeper for the practice by communicating with patients and parents
policies and procedures, including information on office hours and locations
Adheres to phone call scripting when handling different phone calls and patient questions
Identify patients’ needs by clarifying information and asking probing questions to ensure every issue is identified and an appropriate solution or alternative is provided
Obtains new patient demographic and insurance information and schedule New Patient Exam
Build sustainable relationships and engage patients by going the extra mile
Frequently attend educational training events to improve knowledge and performance level/ Marketing events sometimes evening or weekend
Meet monthly and quarterly personal/team goals and metrics
Maintains organized, clean, efficient and confidential work area
Communicates effectively and ensures all communication is professional
Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA Guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
High level of professionalism and ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
Customer focus and adaptability to different caller/customer types
Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and articulate.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
