Maintains appropriate schedules for the hospital, boarding, grooming, day care, and any other areas as may arise. Greets clients and pets as they enter the hospital in a warm and friendly way and assists them to the best of their ability as directed by the veterinarians and nursing staff. Responsible for maintaining a cash box and assisting clients with both check in and check out processes. Answering all phone calls in a timely manner and assisting clients on the phone to the best of their ability or taking a message where appropriate. Engaging with clients and pets that are waiting by providing them with reading materials or conversation. Assisting with questions about rescue pets and providing information as needed. Maintains a clean and well-organized waiting room and client restrooms. Monitors, organizes, and addresses incoming and outgoing faxes and emails.
