- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the business
- Help create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the manager to develop marketing initiatives and promotions
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors
```Skills```
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, staff, and management
- Proficiency in basic math calculations for handling cash transactions and managing inventory
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing sales and tracking inventory
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks accordingly
- Experience in recruiting, training, and evaluating employees
- Knowledge of market trends and ability to adapt strategies accordingly
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and vendors
