PBX operator is responsible for managing a variety of incoming, outgoing and in-house office calls that involves calls from family members, hospital staff members and patients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Transfers incoming calls to the right room, department or facilities within the hospital.
Manages high volume calls efficiently
Assists patients, visitors and vendors with directions inside and outside the hospital.
Performs some clerical duties.
Pages codes.
Performs multi tasking while managing calls and shows a professional manner of call management.
Always speaks clearly and fluently, is polite and friendly with a positive attitude and patience to listen.
Answers multi line calls in a timely manner.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
Experience: Customer service and answering multi phone line required.
