JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible to liaison between the customer engineering design & release engineers and based components engineering team to design unique EDS components. This includes connectors, terminals, plastic parts (channels, brackets, clips, shields), and rubber parts (grommets, seals). Implements proven strategies, culture, principles and policies to meet and exceed customers’ expectations. Understand customers’ product demands, develop plans for market development and product promotion of components working with OEM's and Tier 1 customers, and work with DREs to evaluate design and manufacturing feasibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSME or BSEE) or above, with a focus in mechanical design and manufacturing
- Expert capability using CAE and CAD tools, including a proficiency in using PRO/E, UG, MS Office and other software
- More than five years of design experience in EDS components
- Familiar with the selection of parts and components such as terminals, connectors, plastic parts, and rubber parts
- Familiar with OEM Quality Systems and Change Control Systems
- Knowledge of Design APQP requirements (e.g. DFMEA, DVP&R)
- Deep understanding of EDS component design standards, feasibility, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication skills, written as well as verbal, both Chinese and English
- Ability to effectively prepare and present information to management, work groups and customers
- Ability to communicate and work directly with both customers and suppliers
- Excellent organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
