Hello!
We are looking for a kind, reliable, personable, and skilled dental assistant to join our wonderful general dental practice. We are an established practice with 2 doctors and 5 assistants. The position is open to primarily chair-side assist with occasional hygiene assisting, as one of our highly skilled assistants is going back to school for dental hygiene! We're hoping to fill this position by mid-late August to allow for cross training before our current team member's last day.
We see patients of all ages, so the ideal skills needed include x-rays, pediatric prophy, sealants, rubber dam setup, composites, impressions, packing cord, beautiful temporary crown fabrication. Our assistants also cross train to be able to answer phones and schedule appointments over time.
Reliability, loyalty, work-ethic, and top notch interpersonal skills are all important to make this a good fit. Our office is truly a family and we have loyal patients and staff that have been with us for decades. We pride ourselves on the supportive, patient focused, quality family atmosphere we have established.
We work Mon-Thur 8-5:45, with some administrative hours available for assistants on Fridays 9-12. Our compensation package includes a stable schedule, PTO, medical benefit assistance if needed, a 401K with matching, and yearly bonus.
