Eklego is excited to assist Three Pillars in their search for a dedicated and compassionate Director of Dining Services to join a team of professionals working in the greater Dousman, WI area. This is a full-time opportunity.
The Director of Dining Services supports our mission and values by overseeing day to day food service production standards for Assisted Living and Independent Living, dining services and restaurant, for Village on the Square and Compass Point.
What will I do as a Director of Dining Services?
- Directly supervises the Dining Services Manager, and Executive Chef.
- Oversees optimal/gracious dining experience in all dining areas and various special catering events in order to meet the needs of the organization according to all State/Federal regulations/codes.
- Oversees all food production, dining services menus for regular, holiday and catered events services to ensure established meal schedules/services and quality control standards, production forecasts, service delivery.
- In conjunction with Dining Service Manager and Execuitve Chef Hire, train and develop all department staff for respective building.
- Establish and maintain department staff work and vacation schedules.
- Maintain accountabilities for all tasks, duties or activities of the department within respective building.
- Maintain standards of food production, service, sanitation, safety training, security and food delivery.
- Prepares and implements department operations and capital budget.
- Compile and analyze department operational data to efficiently manage the quality and cost of service provided as well as plan for new service development.
- Proactively foster teamwork within the Dining Services team as well as the campus leadership team.
Requires:
- ServeSafe Certification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in food service management.
- Minimum of an associate's degree in culinary arts.
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft office.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local standards and regulations
