Job Summary: The Fixed/Mobile Guard Medic will provide basic medical support in addition to providing internal and external guard services to include but not limited to, monitoring Access Control Points (ACPs) and Entry Control Points (ECPs), conducting vehicle and personnel searches, performing perimeter and tower security, and providing mobile armed escort services/protective security operations
Duties/Responsibilities:
Some of your duties may include:

Monitoring Access Control Points (ACPs) and Entry Control Points (ECPs) with a focus on proactive detection, identification, reporting, and prevention of the entry of unauthorized personnel and contraband

Conducting vehicle searches including operating traffic control systems at search lanes, including vehicle count management, identification for Random Anti-terrorism Measure (RAM) Searches, and execution of comprehensive vehicle searches

Performing personnel searches following all requirements, operational protocols, and showing adaptability to emerging security challenges

Performing perimeter and tower security, to prevent the entry of unauthorized personnel and detect, identify, and report threats to the perimeter fencing/wall, building, or structure

Providing mobile armed escort services/protective security operations for transport of military and civilian personnel conducting administrative duties, contracted services, site inspections, base-to-base movements, and official liaison missions

Providing basic level medical support

Ensuring all medical equipment is maintained and in operational condition

Demonstrating continuous professional development of medical skills and treatment techniques

Ensuring proper medical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed at all times
Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:
-
Must possess U.S. Citizenship
-
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
-
Must be 21 years of age or older
-
Must possess valid passport and driver’s license with clean record
-
Must possess active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Clearance
-
Must possess active National Registry EMT-Basic certificate
-
Must possess valid BLS (CPR) certificate
-
Must possess four (4) years of military experience OR experience in an emergency response unit (fire and rescue, police, civil defense, etc.)

Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military) if applicable.

Must possess experience in physical security and access control measures

Must possess weapons proficiency with ability to qualify on various weapons systems including shotgun and pistol
-
Must possess ability to pass Physical Fitness Test (PFT) including push-ups and a timed 1.5-mile run
