Church Pension Group (CPG) is a financial services organization located in Midtown Manhattan. CPG was founded in 1917 to provide pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church. Since then, its mission has expanded to include life and disability insurance, health benefits, property & casualty insurance, and publishing.
The Benefits Relationship Management (BRM) Team is responsible for relationship management with the institutions and individuals that CPG serves. BRM will collaborate with partners at CPG and external faculty to create impactful points of connection with benefits clients (existing and prospective) so that all come to understand, access and appreciate the products, programs and services we offer. BRM focuses on three distinct market segments: 1) dioceses, parishes and core institutions of The Episcopal Church; 2) international dioceses, Anglican Covenant Partners of The Episcopal Church, and non-core (affiliated) institutions; and 3) Chaplains to the Retired and Church Pension Fund (CPF) beneficiaries.
Director Internal Presenter Management and Training will be primarily responsible for creating and sustaining tools and processes supporting internal faculty and related training for educational events, trainings, and conferences for CPG clients. The incumbent will be well-versed in project management, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be proficient using technology to maximize efficiencies. They will need an aptitude for creative solutions related to faculty needs and educational opportunities will also be important. This position will be a key liaison working closely with CPG departments including Engagement Strategy, Events Management Group, Content & Creative Services, and Benefits Policy to ensure vertical collaboration and alignment for both in person and virtual client education, as well as serve as key consultant for faculty, training, curriculum enhancements and program changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Working alongside Content Creative Services (CCS) and Engagement Strategy (ES), serve as primary BRM liaison in collaborative effort to design, plan and staff all Business to Business (B2B) educational events, conferences, webinars and meetings

Manage internal and/or vendor faculty calls for presentations, CPG writer assignments, and lead faculty preparation calls/meetings
- Lead presenter rehearsals

Using best practice and expertise, facilitate real-time coaching for each speaker
- Engage with external presenters/vendors (when necessary) to establish timeline for outline development and presentation creation and deliverables

Manage speaker coordination for all CPG B2B conferences (Client Council, Partnership Conference, Bishops’ Conference, Episcopal Business Administrators’ Conference) and some Business to Client (B2C) conferences as appropriate
- Serve as key liaison working in coordination with ES on agenda development

Leadership for internal presenter engagement, recruitment and training
- Coordinate and manage ELT presence at all CPG client facing conferences as needed
- Working alongside CCS, manage internal content development with presenters; review and tracking to necessary timeline

Working with ES, coordinate end of event feedback and evaluation process
- Build and maintain strong, trusting, and professional relationships with internal departments/verticals involved in B2B/B2C client facing activities to drive program/project alignment, program coordination and workflow monitoring

Facilitate alignment and execution by working collaboratively with internal presenters to ensure that CPG’s education strategy is communicated, implemented, and easily understood throughout the cross-organizational teams involved in the support and delivery of client facing deliverables

Drives best practice research and encourages an openness to innovation in thinking and approach with regard to presenter effectiveness

Develop and maintain expertise regarding CPG’s full range of employee benefit products, services, programs, and resources (including PFW, CREDO, financial consultation services, etc.) and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally

Serve as faculty as needed
- Lead or participate in strategic projects and initiatives as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

10+ years of relevant business experience including coaching, management or church leadership experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience considered; Masters degree preferred

Conversational Spanish strongly preferred

Familiarity with the polity of TEC required

Salary Range: $104,400 - $136,000
