RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
- Develop and deliver training programs on risk management and safety topics to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Oversee investigations into violations, safety incidents, accidents, and workplace hazards, implementing corrective actions and safety improvements as needed.
- Monitor and analyze safety data, KPIs, trends, and incidents to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Identify and inform management of safety risks and improvement opportunities.
- Perform risk assessments to pinpoint areas of concern and develop and implement remediation plans.
- Conduct on-site inspections at various operational units to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and policy standards. Assess operational processes, equipment, and facilities to identify potential safety hazards, compliance gaps, or areas of improvement.
- Develop, maintain and implement inspection checklists and protocols to standardize on-site assessments across all locations.
- Samsara system lead; identify safety trends, patterns, areas for improvement, new equipment. Present to all markets on initiatives and safety trends.
- Coordinate and execute monthly market safety meetings reviewing trends, claims, safety initiatives, and upcoming requests from Risk & Safety.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to develop action plans and recommendations for addressing fraud, waste, and abuse findings.
- Stay up to date with changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices related to compliance, risk and safety.
- This role may require occasional travel to various locations for site inspections and on-site audits.
- Strong ability to work independently for periods of time.
- Additional ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Manage insurance claims on all Risk & Safety lines of business including but not limited to Auto, Workers Compensation, General Liability, Professional Liability, Property, Crime, Cyber, etc.
- Assist with mitigating incoming high exposure insurance claims.
- Coordinate with law firms on mitigation of ongoing high exposure insurance claims.

QUALIFICATIONS:*
- 3 years of Risk Management experience recommended; certifications preferred
- 3 years of Incident Investigation Experience recommended
- Strong background in data analytics and Microsoft Suite
