Purpose: The Resident Reviewer Supervisor is a member of administrative team responsible for directing recovery-oriented treatment of clients as they transition from nursing homes and long-term care facilities (SMRFS) to a community setting. Responsible for providing oversite of client resident review/assessments, service planning, transition to community living arrangement, on-going monitoring, care coordination, and general wellbeing of clients post transition. Supervisor will provide direct supervision and training to mental health staff responsible for client service delivery. Will work alongside Director to further develop and expand programming. This position will cover South Suburbs/South side.
Essential Responsibilities for the supervisor, include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for participating in decision making on an administrative level in conjunction with the Resident Reviewers for Williams –Colbert and Program Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with DHS, and court requirements for program
- Responsible for assisting with further program development, as well as the development of policies and procedures, program planning, implementation and evaluation of the program to ensure quality, recovery-oriented services are provided to all members.
- Responsible for designing individual and group training opportunities for staff based on needs of program and identified professional development needs for staff.
- Responsible for maintaining Key Performance Indicators for program services.
- Responsible for providing direct supervision and training to mental health staff responsible for providing services, while maintaining supervision logs for each staff member, carrying out progressive disciplinary action with assigned staff if/when needed.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and coordinating, and/or directly training, new staff.
- Will attend weekly supervisions with Program Managers and meetings as requested, participate in committees and client events as needed, and collaborate on marketing and outreach efforts.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field, and be clinically licensed (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT)
- 3+ years’ experience in the social service field, with at least 1 year in a mental health program.
- Must have minimum 1 year supervisory/managerial experience
- Must have strong oral/ and written communication skills.
