Job Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator is primarily responsible for the inventories and physical areas of the production and FG staging area. This includes ensuring there’s an accurate inventory and put away in the physical areas and within Sage. This role performs daily cycle counts for both areas and takes a leading role in the Year End Physical Inventory process
Responsibilities:
· This role is responsible for supporting the following areas: Various production staging locations, and FG Staging location. This role will also ensure the equipment is maintained appropriately and to compliance while also taking the lead in plant maintenance using the 5S program.
· Responsible for product in the Production staging area, crate area and FG staging area. It also Includes being responsible for the physical area as well as maintaining an accurate quantity count in Sage.
· Will conduct regular cycle counts in area and reconcile any variances.
· Assist in maintaining a steady flow of products in/out of these areas. This includes regular coordination with Receiving and Production staff.
· Play vital role in leading the year end Physical Inventory process in partnership with warehouse management.
· Will cross train and provide support to other warehouse departments as needed.
Requirements:
· Reading – Must be able to read English for the purpose of comparing product descriptions for received products to product orders.
· Writing – Ability to record inventory counts and write the necessary information English.
· Mathematics – Fundamental knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and basic division. Must also be able to count and record numbers.
· Forklift use is preferred; however, training will be provided if necessary.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Prior warehouse environment experience
· Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
