Description:
Administrative Support for LMS Training Staff:
-
Assist in various administrative duties including, but not limited to:
-
Generating sign-in sheets for each training course.
-
Generating training certifications upon trainees’ completion of the course.
-
Maintaining accurate training records, including completion and expiration dates.
-
Sending certifications to operations managers and customers as requested.
-
Informing operations managers and the Training Manager of technicians’ upcoming training expiration dates.
-
Assisting with the scheduling of training classes, fit-for-duty exams, etc.
Inventory and Equipment Management:
-
Maintain an adequate inventory of PPE and uniforms.
-
Track the issuance and return of all company-owned equipment.
-
Ensure PPE inspections are up to date, per company, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Assist in the evaluation of PPE and safety equipment.
Training and Compliance:
-
Assist the Training Manager with forecasting training needs.
-
Assign training plans according to technician accounts.
-
Set up and approve employee clothing on the Gearcor site.
-
Approve invoices generated by the training department.
-
Perform general shipping and receiving duties.
-
Ensure work and tasks conform to QMS requirements.
-
Perform monthly compliance checks of safety equipment in the training center.
Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Familiarity with office organization techniques
-
Strong ability to coordinate logistics
-
Ability to learn specialized software programs used to track inventory and training certifications
-
Well-organized and detail-oriented
-
Strong interpersonal communication and time management skills
-
Ability to lift and maneuver loads up to 30 lbs. without assistance
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Associates degree in Office Administration, Administrative Assistant, General Education or related field a plus
-
At least three (3) years’ experience as a secretary, administrative assistant or other office position for any employer
-
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, wind energy standards and best practices preferred
-
Valid Driver License and acceptable driving record
-
Reside in the San Angelo, TX area, or willing to relocate
