Customer Service Rep
A & M Answering Inc – Lafayette, LA
We are seeking telephone operators to join our staff and fill full-time or part-time positions. A & M provides services 24 hours, 7 days a week. You will be responsible for assisting callers by completing accurate and descriptive messages to be relayed back to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment where your ability for patience, compassion, and attention to detail will allow you to excel in your position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer calls and requests
- Complete and dispatch accurately detailed messages to our customer base
- Oversee account updates, as well as perform routine system-wide checks
Qualifications:
- Customer service knowledge with problem resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications abilities
- Type 45 words per minute
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to handle sensitive calls, occasionally from individuals affected by a debilitating disease
- Ability to follow established and departmental policies and procedures
- Ability to build a positive and professional rapport with clients
