Entry-Level Civil Engineer (Orlando)

We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Engineering professional to join our established team in Orlando, Florida. This design team is responsible for the production and management of a variety of healthcare and other development projects across the Country. This individual will work under the supervision of a Project Manager in a team environment and will be responsible for the preparation of site civil construction documents and related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of due diligence/site analysis
- Preparation of conceptual/schematic site plans including layout, grading and drainage plans, earthwork calculations, stormwater management, and utility plans
- Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, transportation improvements, and project cost estimates/analysis, etc.
- Preparation of engineering or technical computations and design solutions
- Perform permitting assistance and coordination efforts
- Collection and characterization of field data
- Observation of construction or site work
- Communication with internal and external clients
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
- Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam or must pass the F.E. exam within one (1) year of employment
- 0-3 years’ experience in civil engineering or related field is required
- Design phase service experience/internships
- Previous exposure to AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred
- Well organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Candidate will have good communication skills, both written, oral and listening, and good interpersonal skills as well as ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment
- Candidate will interact positively and effectively with people in all levels of organizations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
