Job Description: Wholesale Fine Jewelry Salesperson
Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Wholesale Fine Jewelry Salesperson with extensive experience in managing wholesale accounts specifically within the Fine Jewelry sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the wholesale market dynamics, particularly in fine jewelry and diamonds, and demonstrate a track record of successfully building and nurturing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our wholesale fine jewelry business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fine jewelry market, particularly focusing on diamond jewelry.
- Utilize industry knowledge and personal network to generate leads and expand client base.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote our brand and establish new connections.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (4+ years) in wholesale sales of fine jewelry, with a strong emphasis on diamonds.
- Established relationships within the diamond industry that can be leveraged for business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of sales processes and market dynamics in the fine jewelry industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
